Augmented NAC moved from bottles to individually sealed blister packs to reduce moisture and air exposure to each capsule between doses. The formulation itself has not changed.
What Actually Changed
If you have ordered Augmented NAC before and received a bottle, and your most recent order arrived in a blister pack, that is expected. We transitioned the entire product line to blister packaging, and every current order ships this way. Nothing about the capsule contents, dosage, or formulation was altered as part of this change.
We know packaging changes can be an unwelcome surprise when they are not explained, particularly for a product you take daily. This is why we would rather set out the reasoning plainly than let customers wonder whether something else changed along with the packaging.
Why Blister Packs Instead of Bottles
Reduced Air and Moisture Exposure
In a bottle, every capsule is exposed to the same shared air each time the bottle is opened, and that exposure accumulates over the life of the bottle. In a blister pack, each capsule stays sealed until the moment you take it. For an ingredient like NAC, which can be sensitive to oxidation over time, this matters for maintaining consistency from the first capsule in the pack to the last.
Dose Tracking
Blister packs also make it easier to see at a glance whether you have taken your dose for the day, which is a small but practical benefit for anyone managing a daily routine.
Travel and Storage
Blister packs are also generally easier to travel with than a glass or plastic bottle, since they are flatter, lighter, and less prone to spilling if opened accidentally in a bag.
What This Means for Your Order
Each blister pack contains 60 capsules, providing a 30-day supply at the recommended dose of two capsules per day. If you have leftover product in an old bottle, it remains fine to use within its stated shelf life. There is no need to discard existing stock because of the packaging change.
Our Approach to Packaging Changes Generally
Packaging is not something we change often, and when we do, we would rather explain the reasoning than let customers notice a difference and wonder about it. If we make further changes to Augmented NAC packaging in future, we will continue to explain what changed, why, and whether anything about the formulation itself has been affected.
Questions About Your Delivery
If you were expecting one format and received the other, or if a delivery arrives looking different from a previous order, that is worth flagging to our support team directly. It is far easier for us to check an order and confirm everything is as it should be than for you to be left guessing, and we would rather answer that question directly than have it sit unresolved.
